BC opens the 2026 season with a 16-4 win over Parkland (PA)

Bergen Catholic opened its season with a trip to Muhlenberg College, the alma mater of Coaches Feaster and Giaquinto, on Friday March 20th to play Parkland HS (PA). A constant cold rain fell throughout the evening and both teams started off slowly with Bergen scoring the only goal of the first quarter. Bergen then exploded for 7 goals in the second quarter to increase their led to 8-0 at halftime. Bergen Catholic scored 8 more times in the second half to secure a 16-4 victory to start the season 1-0. Seven different players scored in the 16 goal effort while the stingy defense did not allow a goal the entire first half.

The Crusaders face Blair Academy and Fordham Prep the week of March 23rd before departing to Boston for a two game road trip.
